External Examiner

The University's external examiner system is a key quality assurance mechanism for benchmarking its curricula against international standards and practices, and has been commended as exemplary in the Quality Assurance Council's Audit Report of November 2009. Subsequent enhancement of the system was approved by the Senate in May 2010, in response to the demands of the new undergraduate curriculum, continuing enhancement of teaching quality and benchmarking of international best practice.
